Inception

Yesterday, we discussed and analyzed the movie “Inception”. We briefly debated about the ending and talked about the reality behind the ideas in the film.

Today, we talked about different themes in dream and prepared for our final presentation. We discussed what it could mean when animals, body parts, famous characters, colors, feelings, food, houses, numbers, and places appear in your dreams.

Dreams Class Days 1 & 2

Morning Section

On our first day of class, we received our dream journals which we then decorated. Mr. Mohler explained to us how to keep a dream journal and the importance of writing down your dream as soon as you wake up so you don’t forget it. Today, students presented about why people dream, why people have reoccurring dreams, what the different types of dreams are, and whether or not dreams can predict the future.

Afternoon Section

Yesterday, Mr. Mohler introduced how to dream and passed out dream journals. We discussed how to remember our dreams and how to analyze our dreams and common themes.

Today, we discussed our dreams from last night. Groups presented Powerpoint presentations on certain themes in dreams. We researched symbolism, color significance, figures, people in dreams, meaning of dreams, repetitive dreams, and REM.
Tomorrow, We will be watching and analyzing the movie Inception.
